Being that I live in Cincinnati, I have access to many ex-Kenner employees who have worked on the Star Wars line. When Kenner decided to revitalize the line in 1995 one of the earlier concepts that made several retail lists was Attack R2-D2. Rumored to have been similar to R5-D4, no photos have ever surfaced of this item, until now. John Shueller contacted me recently to unload some of his Star Wars trinkets as he called them and amoung several prototype pieces was this. I can proudly say that this one of a kind piece is now in my very own collection and now for the first time in Star Wars collecting history I am sharing the images with you!
