Here's an interesting piece! The wooden Artoo won first prize in original model category at the Official Mexican Fan Club Star Wars Convention in Mexico City in 2004. It was built by a guy named Javier Vazquez who had won a prize the year before for his Darth Vader TIE Fighter. Both pieces are made from tongue depressors & Popsicle sticks! The Artoo is unique because it has a third leg that descends when the droid's other two legs are moved to the rear. Its dome also rotates. Enjoy the photos!
