This was one of Kenner's earlier attempts at adding electronics to toys after re-launching the Star Wars brand in 1995-1996. The figure features electronic sounds & lights, plus you can use the hidden wand on the back to control R2-D2 via magnets in his feet. Check out the prototype right here!
