This 47 back for the Sensorscope figure is the earliest known ESB logo proof card to surface for R2-D2. In addition, unfortunately no proof cards have come to light for any cardback between the original 12 back and this 47 back. Widely thought to be one of a kind, the 47 backs exhibit qualities more closely associated with the final production item, with four rounded corners and slightly thicker cardstock then is found on normal proofs. The punch is noticeably absent on this version. Often called Sample Cards, this classification is now more commonly called a Production-like Proof.
