The First Remote Controlled R2-D2

At the recent Ohio Star Wars Collectors Club Summer Social, former Kenner employee Jim Swearingen had a portfolio of former projects he had worked on. This photo is the one that caught me eye! Jim explained that this was the first ever remote controlled R2-D2. It was never produced but was the basis for what eventually was ( shown here). I personally think this one looks super cool!
